ORDINANCE NO. 070439

 

Authorizing a contract not to exceed $470,000.00 with Corporate Care Occupational Medicine Network for Kansas City Fire Department employee physical examinations and physician services and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $470,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Fire is authorized to execute a contract for employee physical examinations and physician services with Corporate Care Occupational Medicine Network from funds previously appropriated in the Fire Sales Tax Fund, Account No 08-2300-232000-B. A copy of the contract is on file with the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That this ordinance will take effect May 1, 2007.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
