Approving a $1,000.00 contract amendment with Tomorrow's Future, Inc. for the presentation of Martin Luther King, Jr. -- A Great American from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund (Fifth Council District).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $1,000.00 contract amendment with Tomorrow's Future, Inc. for the presentation of Martin Luther King, Jr. -- A Great American from funds previously appropriated in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to Account No. 235-067-2150B (Fifth Council District), which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that attached hereto. This amendment increases the total contract amount to $6,000.00.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
