RESOLUTION NO. 930579

Approving the appointment of members of the Air Quality Control Board.

WHEREAS, Section 18.94 of the Code of General Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri provides for a seven-member Air Quality Control Board appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council; and

WHEREAS, that same section of the Code provides for staggered terms of from one to four years for the initial board; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed the following persons to the Air Quality Control Board:

Craig Volland 1 year term

Terry Eaton 2 year term

Ernest Williams 2 year term

Diane Baker 3 year term

Robert A. Raich, M.D. 3 year term

Dr. Gregory Muleski 4 year term

Maribeth Samenus-Chambers 4 year term

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the City Council hereby approves the following appointments by the Mayor to serve terms as members of the City's Air Quality Control Board effective June 1, 1993: Craig Volland, 1 year term; Terry Eaton, 2 year term; Ernest Williams, 2 year term; Diane Baker, 3 year term; Robert A. Raich, M.D., 3 year term; Dr. Gregory Muleski, 4 year term; Maribeth Samenus-Chambers, 4 year term. _______________________________________________________
