ORDINANCE NO. 140332

 

Reducing appropriations in the amount of $737,862.00 in the Capital Improvements Fund; appropriating that amount to the North Jackson Avenue Improvements from Vivion to Gladstone City Limits account; authorizing re-appropriation of unexpended and unencumbered balances of the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 to the Fiscal Year 2014-2015; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Capital Improvements Fund are hereby reduced by the following amounts:

 

14-3090-898101-B-89008112 N. Brighton - MO 210 to Parvin

Road Project $254,000.00

14-3090-108100-B-89009996 Council District 1 Contingency 483,862.00

TOTAL $737,862.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $737,862.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account:

 

14-3090-898101-B-89008251 North Jackson Avenue

Improvements - Vivion to

Gladstone City Limits $737,862.00

 

Section 3. That the unencumbered and unexpended balance of the account described in Section 2 of this Ordinance be re-appropripated to the same account in Fiscal Year 2014-15.

 

Section 4. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
