ORDINANCE NO. 040109

Awarding contracts for health insurance and authorizing the Director of Human Resources to enter into a contract with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas City and Coventry Healthcare Advantra for health insurance benefits for City employees and retirees for the period of May 1, 2004 through April 30, 2005.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Council hereby awards a contracts with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas City and Coventry Healthcare Advantra for health insurance benefits for City employees and retirees for the period of May 1, 2004 through April 30, 2005, and the Director of Human Resources is hereby authorized to execute these contracts, contingent upon an annual appropriation of funds.
