ORDINANCE NO. 001050

 

Authorizing a contract amendment with James Duncan and Associates, Inc., d/b/a Duncan Associates, to increase the contract amount by $3,000.00 for the Impact Fee Study and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $3,000.00 in funds previously appropriated for the project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a contract amendment with James Duncan and Associates, Inc., d/b/a Duncan Associates, to increase the contract amount by $3,000.00 for the Impact Fee Study for north of the Missouri River due to the request of the Clay County Economic Development Council that a portion of District D be excluded from the program. The contract amendment, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $3,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-208-089-1314-B for the aforesaid contract amendment.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
