ORDINANCE NO. 140733

 

Rezoning a 5 acre tract of land from District AG-R to B3-3, generally located on the north side of N.W. Old Tiffany Springs Road about 500 feet east of N. Congress Avenue. (10251-P-26)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0973, rezoning an approximately 5 acre tract of land from District AG-R (Agricultural-Residential) to B3-3 (Community Business (dash 3)), generally located on the north side of N.W. Old Tiffany Springs Road about 500 feet east of N. Congress Avenue, said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A0973. That an area legally described as:

 

Part of Lot 1A, Minor Subdivision Lot Split, Lot 1A, 2A and Tract A, Sarah Glass Place, a subdivision of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 51 North, Range 34 West of the 5th Principal Meridian in (City Co State) being bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 1A, said corner also being a point on the North right-of-way line of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road, as now established; thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 47 seconds West, along the South line of said Lot 1A, 550.34 feet; thence North 00 degrees 05 minutes 12 seconds East, 358.25 feet to a point on the North line of said Lot 1A; thence South 89 degrees 54 minutes 48 seconds East, along said North line, 550.34 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1A; thence South 00 degrees 05 minutes 12 seconds West, along the East line of said Lot 1A, 357.38 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 196,919 square feet or 4.52 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District AG-R (Agricultural-Residential) to B3-3 (Community Business (dash 3)), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0973, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
