ORDINANCE NO. 060441

 

Authorizing the Director of City Development to execute a lease agreement with K.C. Partners Oak Tower Limited Partnership for a term of one year beginning June 1, 2006 and ending May 30, 2007, with three 1 year options to renew.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of City Development is authorized, on behalf of the City, to execute a lease agreement, a copy of which, in substantial form is attached hereto and is hereby approved, with K.C. Partners Oak Tower Limited Partnership for approximately 10,456 square feet at the rate of $12.00 per rentable square foot for leased premises located at 324 East 11th Street, Suite 700, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri with the annual amount of the lease being $125,472.00 payable in twelve (12) equal monthly installments, for the purpose of flex office space, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 07-1000-898027-B, Buildings CW.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
