RESOLUTION NO. 100354

Honoring 144 high school seniors for their contributions to the community.

WHEREAS, young Kansas Citians play an integral and vital role in effectively changing our community through service efforts; and

WHEREAS, these high school seniors, representing 15 high schools collectively contributed 21,790 hours of service to the community, which translates to an economic impact of $462,000 dollars; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor, City Council and City Manager to recognize 144 of our City’s high school seniors in the creation of a better City, County, State and Nation; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Mayor and Council hereby honor 143 high school seniors for their contributions to the community; and
