COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 991613

Approving a $7,500.00 contract with Art & Soul, Inc., for sponsoring the Classic Black Cultural Celebration from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $7,500.00 contract with Art & Soul, Inc., for sponsoring the Classic Black Cultural Celebration from funds previously appropriated in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to Account No. 00-235-067-2100-B, which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that on file in the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
