COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 990329

Authorizing a one year contract, with two one-year options, including a master lease financing agreement, with Inacom Information Systems for a City-wide Personal Computer Lifecycle Program; and authorizing the Director of Information Technology to expend $1,820,042.00 from Account No. 00-711-018-3000.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Information Technology is authorized to enter into a one year contract, with two one-year options, including a master lease financing agreement, with Inacom Information Systems for a City-wide Personal Computer Lifecycle Program in a form substantially as that shown in Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2 attached to this ordinance.

Section 2. That the Director of Information Technology is authorized to expend funds from the following account to implement the PC Lifecycle Program:

00-711-018-3000 PC Lifecycle $1,820,042.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
