ORDINANCE NO. 010711

 

Authorizing an $877,447.00 Termination Agreement with The Paradies Shops for Project No. C000333 - General Merchandise Concession Agreement at Kansas City International Airport and appropriating funds in the amount of $877,447.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute an $877,477.00 Termination Agreement for Project No. C000333 - General Merchandise Concession Agreement at Kansas City International Airport with The Paradies Shops. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the sum of $877,447.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Kansas City Airports Fund to the following account in the Kansas City Airports Fund:

 

02-821-062-7267-T KCI Bldg Improvements $877,447.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amount heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund for work to be performed under the aforesaid agreement:

 

$877,477.00 Negotiated Financial Offer

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
