ORDINANCE NO. 961019

Authorizing a one-year $85,000.00 agreement and four one-year renewal options with the Zimmer Companies, Inc., for professional real estate brokerage services at Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport, and appropriating funds therefore.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute an $85,000.00 one-year real estate brokerage services agreement and four (4) one-year renewal options under the same terms and conditions with the Zimmer Companies, Inc., at Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the sum of $85,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Airport Unappropriated Fund Balance to the following account:

97-821-062-1040-B-1012 Commercial Development $85,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $85,000.00 for services to be performed under the first term of the agreement. Expenditure of funds for the option years is subject to appropriation.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
