COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 930496, AS AMENDED

Reducing appropriation by $45,000.00 in Account No. 261-055-2120; appropriating the sum of $45,000.00 to Account No. 261-055-2240; authorizing a $125,000.00 contract with Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation for funds for rehabilitation support services; and approving an amendment to the CDBG Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds increasing the Twelfth Street Heritage Program by $45,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account is hereby reduced by the following amount:

261-055-2120-B Minor Home Repair $45,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $45,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Community Development Fund-Year 18, Fund 261, to the following account in said fund:

261-055-2240-B Twelfth Street Heritage $45,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation, in the amount of $125,000.00, for the purpose of providing funds for rehabilitation support services to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account Nos. 262-055-2240-B, 12th Street Heritage ($80,000.00) and 261-055-2240-B, Twelfth Street Heritage ($45,000.00). A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

Section 4. That an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds- Year 19, increasing the Twelfth Street Heritage Program by $45,000.00 to $125,000.00, is hereby approved.
