ORDINANCE NO. 080027

Appropriating $1,000,000.00 from the Contingent Appropriation of the General Fund and transferring it into the Motor Fuel Tax Fund for snow and ice removal; and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the sum of $1,000,000.00 is reduced from the following account in the Contingent Appropriation of the General Fund:

08-1000-179990-B Contingent Appropriation $1,000,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $1,000,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account:

08-1000-129998-X Transfer to Motor Fuel Tax Fund $1,000,000.00

Section 3. That the revenue in the following account of the Motor Fuel Tax Fund is estimated in the following additional amount:

08-2060-120000-501000 Transfer from General Fund $1,000,000.00

Section 4. That $1,000,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Motor Fuel Tax Fund to the following account in the Motor Fuel Tax Fund:

08-2060-892010-A Snow and Ice Removal $ 569,400.00

08-2060-892010-C Snow and Ice Removal 430,600.00

TOTAL $1,000,000.00

Section 5. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter in that it appropriates money and shall take effect in accordance with that section.
