COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 100374

 

Changing the names of various streets in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the name of N.E. 102nd Terrace, west of N. Willow Avenue, within the plat of Amber Meadows - Sixth Plat shall be changed to N.E. 102nd Lane, all within Section 36, Township 52 North, Range 32 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the names of N.E. 85th Street, N. Marsh Avenue and N. Donnelly Avenue within the plat of The Preserve Third Plat shall be changed to N. Donnelly Court, all within Section 10, Township 51 North, Range 32 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Walnut within the plat of Creekwood Hills - Second Plat shall be changed to N. Walnut Street, all within Section 35, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Wyandotte Avenue within the plat of Oak Hill Village shall be changed to N. Wyandotte Street, all within Section 2, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Wyandotte Avenue within the plat of Metro North be changed to N. Wyandotte Street, all within Section 11, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Holmes shall be changed to N. Holmes Street, and that the name of N.E. 108th Street Terrace shall be changed to N.E. 108th Court, both within the plat of Woodridge Estates Fifth Plat, all within Section 26, Township 52 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Olive Avenue within the plats of Staley Hills First Plat and Staley Farms Townhomes be changed to N. Olive Street, all within Section 25, Township 52 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N.W. Platte Purchase Drive within the plat of Falcon Falls East C. U .P. be changed to N. Platte Purchase Drive, all within Section 22, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 

That the name of N. Washington Avenue within the plat of Willow Glen be changed to N. Washington Street, all within Section 15, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; and

 


That the dual street name of N.E. 76th Street/N.E. Soccer Drive as established by Ordinance No. 971424 from N. Brighton Avenue east approximately 9,000 feet to Shoal Creek Parkway, including that portion platted as N.E. 80th Street by the plat of Brighton Crossing – First Plat, be changed to N.E. Soccer Drive; and

 

That the name of the route commonly known as North Oak Trafficway, with platted names including but not limited to North Oak Trafficway, North Oak Street Trafficway, Highway 69, Highway 169, paved highway and Jefferson Highway, shall be standardized with the official name of North Oak Trafficway from the north city limit of North Kansas City to the south city limit of Gladstone, and from the north city limit of Gladstone to N.E. L. P. Cookingham Drive.

 

Section 2. That the changes are indicated on the maps attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section 3. That existing traffic ordinances on these streets will remain in effect and will not be affected by the street name change.
