Authorizing a $93,375.00
Second Amendment to Agreement No. 990043 with M.J. Harden Associates relating
to the Geographic Information System (G.I.S.) and storm water planning contour
mapping updates and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend
previously appropriated funds for the project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on
behalf of the City, a $93,375.00 Second Amendment to Agreement No. 990043 with
M.J. Harden Associates relating to the Geographic Information System (G.I.S.)
and storm water planning contour mapping updates to be completed in three
phases:
Phase I: South
of the Missouri River
Phase II: North
of the Missouri River, 1/2 of all quarter sections
Phase III: North
of the Missouri River, remaining 1/2 quarter sections
to expand the scope of Phase
I, in Kansas City, Missouri, all Council Districts, Project No. 2717. The
agreement shall essentially be in the form attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference.
Section 2. That
the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to expend the sum of
$93,375.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-861-080-7754-T
for the aforesaid Second Amendment to Agreement No. 990043.

I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
incurred.
