ORDINANCE NO. 150056

 

Accepting and approving a one-year $307,428.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for a comprehensive sexually transmitted disease prevention program.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will provide funding for a Comprehensive Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention Program in the Kansas City, Missouri area for a period beginning January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015, for an amount not to exceed $307,428.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $102,510.00 from funds appropriated to Account No. 15-2480-505414-G50240916 for the aforesaid contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
