ORDINANCE NO. 981320

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0180, rezoning an area of approximately 3.8 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 144th Street, approximately 400 feet east of N.W. Interurban Road, from District GP-1 (General Industry) to District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses). (11465-GP-1)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0180, rezoning an area of approximately 3.8 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 144th Street, approximately 400 feet east of N.W. Interurban Road, from District GP-1 (General Industry) to District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0180. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 53, Range 34, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Quarter Section; thence east along the south line of said Quarter Section, 75 feet for a true point of beginning; thence north and parallel to the west line of said Quarter Section, 730 feet; thence east and parallel with the south line of said Quarter Section, 225 feet; thence south and parallel with the west line of said Quarter Section, 730 feet to a point on the south line of said Quarter Section; thence west along the south line of said Quarter Section, 225 feet to the point of beginning.

 

is hereby rezoned from District GP-1 (General Industry) to District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0180, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
