Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by
adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0127, rezoning an area of
approximately 1.7 acres generally located on the west side of Indiana Avenue
between 19th Street and a point approximately 80 feet south of 20th Street from
District URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to District C-3a1 (Intermediate
Business, Low Buildings). (11745-P-2)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of
Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as
Section 80-11A0127, rezoning an area of approximately 1.7 acres generally
located on the west side of Indiana Avenue between 19th Street and a point
approximately 80 feet south of 20th Street from District URD (Urban
Redevelopment District) to District C-3a1 (Intermediate Business, Low
Buildings), said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0127. That an area
legally described as:
All Lots 14-17 and the
west 11.11 feet of Lot 18, and the east 16 2/3 feet of Lot 32, and all Lots
33-36 except that portion in the street, all in Block 2, Walnut Grove, a
subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and all Lots 14-17 and
the west 11.11 feet of Lot 18, and all Lots 32-35 and the west 11.11 feet of
Lot 36, all in Block 3, Walnut Grove, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson
County, Missouri, and the west 55 feet of Lots 1-3 and the west 55 feet of the
north 6 feet of Lot 4, all in Andrews First Addition, a subdivision in Kansas
City, Jackson County, Missouri.
is hereby rezoned from District URD (Urban
Redevelopment District) to District C-3a1 (Intermediate Business, Low
Buildings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0127, which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part
of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as
an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section B. That the Council finds
and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment
hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance
have been given and had.
