ORDINANCE NO. 031305

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, by changing the land use designation for from GP-7 (Agricultural and Residential) to GP-6 (Low Density Residential) for an approximately 9.36 acre tract of land generally located on the north side of N.W. Barry Road, approximately 500 feet west of N. Carson Avenue. (247-S-88)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from GP-7 (Agricultural and Residential) to GP-6 (Low Density Residential) for an approximately 9.36 acre tract of land generally located on the north side of N.W. Barry Road, approximately 500 feet west of N. Carson Avenue, and more specifically described as follows:

 

A tract of land in the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 10, Township 31, Range 34, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Northeast 1/4; thence North 89 degrees 44 minutes 44 seconds West, along the south line of said Northeast 1/4, 916.67 feet to the intersection of the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Wildwood West First Plat, a subdivision in said Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, said point also being the point of beginning of the tract to be described herein; thence North 89 degrees 44 minutes 44 seconds West, continuing along said south line, 660.13 feet; thence North 00 degrees 09 minutes 09 seconds East, parallel with the east line of said Northeast 1/4, 660.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 44 minutes 44 seconds East, parallel with the south line of said northeast 334.00 feet; thence North 00 degrees 09 minutes 09 seconds East, parallel with the east line of said Northeast 1/4, 126.71 feet to the westerly line of said Wildwood West First Plat; thence South 89 degrees 39 minutes 15 seconds East along said line, 10.23 feet; thence South 39 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East continuing along said line, 159.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes 39 seconds East, continuing along said line 111.87 feet; thence South 32 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East continuing along said line 190.50 feet; thence South 00 degrees 02 minutes 15 seconds East continuing along said line and its southerly prolongation, 502.50 feet to the point of beginning. Except that portion on the south being used for public right of way of N.W. Barry Road as shown on Certificate of Survey filed March 4, 1993 as Document No. 2717 in Cabinet 8 at Sleeve 182. Also, all of Tract B, Block 3, Wildwood West First Plat, a subdivision in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan and as an amendment to Section 80-206.


Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
