Rezoning an area of approximately 16.5 acres generally located at the southeast corner of N.E. 108th Street and N. Eastern Avenue from District CP-2 to District R-1a. (10988-P-4)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0777, rezoning an area of approximately 16.5 acres generally located at the southeast corner of N.E. 108th Street and N. Eastern Avenue from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0777. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 28 and the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 52, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 893027 East, along the North line of said Southwest Quarter, 681.89 feet; thence South 02933 West, 321.37 feet; thence South 411231 East, 67.37 feet; thence South 101620 East, 116.67 feet; thence South 01122 West, 150.01 feet; thence South 010225 East, 72.01 feet; thence South 141734 East, 96.77 feet; thence South 281120 East, 96.77 feet; thence South 363755 East, 72.16 feet; thence South 532205 West, 74.05 feet; thence South 423644 West, 141.95 feet; thence North 524842 West, 248.58 feet; thence Northwesterly, on a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 470.00 feet, an arc distance of 224.86 feet; thence North 801326 West, 93.16 feet; thence Northwesterly on a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 790.00 feet, an arc distance of 237.37 feet; thence North 630031 West, 198.05 feet; thence North 265929 East, 207.28 feet; thence Northerly, on a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 900.00 feet, an arc distance of 417.43 feet; thence North 02502 East, 94.43 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 16.51 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0777, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.


Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
