ORDINANCE NO. 991333

Authorizing a cooperative agreement for transmission system improvements between Kansas City, Missouri and the City of Lees Summit, Missouri providing for design and construction of water transmission system improvements, apportioning the costs in accordance with the benefit derived by each city, and directing the City Clerk to file same.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a Cooperative Agreement for Transmission System Improvements with the City of Lees Summit Missouri for design and construction of water transmission system improvements and apportioning the costs in accordance with the benefit derived by each city. A copy of said agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of said agreement, the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this ordinance and of the agreement to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri and with the Secretary of State of the State of Missouri, in accordance with RSMO Section 70.300 (1994).
