ORDINANCE NO. 970462

Authorizing a $38,395.20 contract with Scott Critchfield for cleaning and reshaping storm outlet ditches along the Missouri River Levees through the City and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $42,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the work of cleaning and reshaping storm outlet ditches along the Missouri River Levees is hereby provided for and authorized.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Scott Critchfield, an individual, d/b/a Crane Critchfield, in the amount of $38,395.20 for cleaning and reshaping storm outlet ditches.

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $42,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated as and for consideration and contingencies in the aforesaid contract from the following account:

97-100-089-1100-B Public Property Maintenance $42,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
