ORDINANCE NO. 200127

 

Authorizing a $7,518,506.00 contract with Evergy Missouri West, Inc., to provide redundant electrical service to the new terminal at the Kansas City International Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is authorized to execute a Facility Extension Agreement in the amount of $7,518,506.00 with Evergy Missouri West, Inc., to provide redundant electrical service to the new terminal at the Kansas City International Airport.  A copy of the agreement is on file with the Director of Aviation.

 

Section 2. That the sum of $7,518,506.00 has been previously appropriated to Account No. AL-8561-627270-B-62180497, Airport Improvement 2019B Bond.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
