ORDINANCE NO. 990007

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0187, rezoning an area of approximately 14 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 90th Street, on both sides of N.W. Anglia Road, from District R-4-p (Low Apartment - Limited District) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (7269-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0187, rezoning an area of approximately 14 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 90th Street, on both sides of N.W. Anglia Road, from District R-4-p (Local Apartment - Limited District) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0187. That an area legally described as:

 

Tracts 12, 13 and 14, Bigham Heights, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, (except that part of Tract 12 taken for Missouri Route 152 right-of-way) and all that part of the right-of-way of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company located in the West One-Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 51 North, Range 33 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, which lies on the eastwardly side of the centerline of said right-of-way and abuts upon and immediately adjoins vacated Parallel Avenue, adjacent to the land now owned by said grantee, being Lots 18 and 19, Plat of Bigham Heights, in said West One-Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri. Also, tracts numbered 18 and 19, Bigham Heights, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-4-p (Low Apartment - Limited District) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0187, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
