ORDINANCE NO. 970614

Authorizing a personal services contract with Robert Schumacher, for a one year period for consultation services and expending funds previously appropriated in the amount of $71,500.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Office of Technology and Information Services is authorized to enter into a personal services contract with Robert Schumacher and expend the sum of $71,500.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 98-100-018-1800-B as and for consideration in the aforementioned personal services contract and related FICA expenses with Robert Schumacher for services to continue implementation of the Geographic Information Systems Network.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
