COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 930586

Estimating revenues in the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements Fund in the amount of $207,329.00; appropriating said sum from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of said fund to two activity accounts listed in the body of the ordinance; designating the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners as the requisitioning authority for said accounts and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenues in the following account of the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements Fund are hereby estimated in the following amount:

372-070-9220 Transfer from East Park Fund $207,329.00

Section 2. That the sum of $207,329.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements Fund to the following accounts:

372-070-7311T Council District #3 Swimming Pools $103,664.50

372-070-7511T Council District #5 Tennis Courts $103,664.50

Section 3. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for the 372 Fund.

Section 4. This ordinance, making provision for the current expenses of municipal government, is recognized as an emergency measure under Article II, Section 15 of the duly adopted Charter of Kansas City and shall take effect immediately upon passage. ___________________________________

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise

unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
