ORDINANCE NO. 071217

 

Authorizing a $44,065.00 Amendment No. 2 to an agreement with Brian Clark & Associates for 2nd Street Streetscape, Project No. 64005007; authorizing the City Manager to expend $44,065.00 from previously appropriated funds for the project; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a $44,065.00 Amendment No. 2 to an agreement with Brian Clark & Associates, Project No.640050072nd Street Streetscape for additional design services.

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to expend the sum of $44,065.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-3330-648842-B.

Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
