ORDINANCE NO. 080266

Accepting and approving a $79,810.00 amendment to a contract with Kansas City Free Health Clinic to provide additional case management care to eligible clients in the Kansas City Transitional Grant Area who meet Ryan White Title I guidelines.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a contract amendment between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, acting through its Executive Director, whereby the Kansas City Free Health Clinic will provide additional case management services to eligible clients in the Kansas City Transitional Grant Area (TGA) for the period of March 1, 2007 through July 31, 2008, for an amount not to exceed $272,651.00 to be paid from funds appropriated in Account No. 08-2730-505003-B, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
