Authorizing the Director of Water
Services to enter into a contract with Sarai Construction, Inc., for Small Main
Replacement on Plate C-24, N.E. Sagamore Avenue to N. Troost Avenue; N.E.
Russell Road to N.E. 32nd Avenue; and authorizing the expenditure of
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
Section 1. That
the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute Contract No.
8792, Project No. 80001397, with Sarai Construction, Inc.
Section 2. That
the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of
$2,400,000.00, from Account No. AL-8072-808081-B-611060, Water & Sewer CD1,
including contingencies, to satisfy the cost of this contract.
I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
