ORDINANCE NO. 130698

 

Authorizing a $1,822,000.00 contract with Black and Veatch Corporation for the Water System Master Plan – Phase II project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute Contract No. 8951, Project No. 80001761, in the amount of $1,821,252.00, with Black and Veatch Corporation for design professional services for the Water System Master Plan – Phase II project from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-8073-807705-B-611040, Water & Sewer CW. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
