ORDINANCE NO. 940696

Approving and accepting a contract with the Good Samaritan Project whereby Good Samaritan will provide transportation services for persons with HIV for the period April 4, 1994 through March 31, 1995, under the Ryan White Title I Supplemental Grant, in the amount of $49,067.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the Good Samaritan Project to provide sensitive and effective transportation services for persons with HIV, for the period of April 4, 1994 through March 31, 1995, under the Ryan White Title I Supplemental Grant, in an amount of $49,067.00 previously appropriated in Account No. 95-273-050-2445-B by Ordinance No. 940558. A copy of said contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
