Rezoning approximately 24 acres
generally located at 9136 N. Wabash Avenue from District R-7.5 (Residential
7.5) to District R-80 (Residential 80) to permit continuation of agricultural

BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new
section to be known as Section 88-20A1154, rezoning approximately 24 acres
generally located at 9136 N. Wabash Avenue from District R-7.5 (Residential
7.5) to District R-80 (Residential 80) to permit continuation of agricultural
uses, said section to read as follows:
Section 88-20A1154. That an area
legally described as:
A tract of land in
the Southeast Quarter of Section One Township Five One North, Range Thirty-Three
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri ,
being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast
corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 1;
thence North 87 degrees 42 minutes 16 seconds West along the north line of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 236.07 feet to the point of beginning
of the tract of land to be described; thence South 00 degrees 44 minutes 25
seconds East, a distance of 1295.23 feet to the north right of way line of N.E.
90th Street, as it is now established; thence North 87 degrees 47 minutes 52
seconds West along said north right of way line a distance of 1030.30 feet;
thence North 02 degrees 12 minutes 08 seconds East a distance of 165.00 feet;
thence North 11 degrees 18 minutes 42 seconds East, a distance of 154.34 feet;
thence North 30 degrees 21 minutes 25 seconds East, a distance of 668.93 feet;
thence North 72 degrees 12 minutes 08 seconds West, a distance of 47.25 feet;
thence North 03 degrees 53 minutes 13 seconds East, a distance of 184.61 feet;
thence on a curve to the left, having a radius of 525.00 feet, an initial
tangent bearing of North 86 degrees 06 minutes 47 seconds West and an arc
distance of 7.33 feet; thence North 03 degrees 05 minutes 13 seconds East, a
distance of 190.07 feet to the north line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
1; thence South 87 degree 42 minutes 16 seconds East along said north line a
distance of 668.21 feet to the point of beginning.
is hereby rezoned from District
R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) to District R-80 (Residential 80), all as shown
outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A1154, which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the
zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section
88-20 thereof.
A copy of said development plan
is on file in the office of the City Clerk with this ordinance and is made a
part hereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any
action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings
required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
