ORDINANCE NO. 931249

Approving a $66,666.00 contract with Blaze Mechanical Inc. for installation of a dust control system at the Water Treatment Plant; and authorizing expenditure of $79,900.00 in funding therefor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a $66,666.00 contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, through its Director of Water and Pollution Control, and Blaze Mechanical Inc. for installation of a dust control system at the Water Treatment Plant is hereby approved and confirmed. The contract will be in the form as that on file in the office of the Director.

Section 2. That the Director of Water and Pollution Control is hereby authorized to expend up to the sum of $79,900.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 801-080-7203-T "Water Treatment Plant Improvements" to satisfy the cost of this contract including changes deemed necessary.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
