ORDINANCE NO. 001304

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0311, rezoning an area of approximately 5.44 acres generally located at the northwest corner of N.E. 80th Street and N.E. Antioch Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0311, rezoning an area of approximately 5.44 acres generally located at the northwest corner of N.E. 80th Street and N.E. Antioch Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0311. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 89E32'40" East, along the south line of said Southeast Quarter, 661.93 feet to the southwest corner of the East One-Half of the Southwest Quarter of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 00E32'52" East, along the west line of said East One-Half, 30.00 feet to a point on the north right of way line of N.E. 80th Street, as now established, said point being the true point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence continuing North 00E32'52" East, along said west line, 377.10 feet to the southwest corner of Antioch Hills, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence South 89E10'55" East, along the south line of said Antioch Hills, 631.25 feet to a point on the westerly right of way line of N.E. Antioch Road, as now established; thence South 00E27'01" West, along said westerly right of way line, 373.11 feet to a point on the northerly right of way line of said N.E. 80th Street; thence North 89E32'40" West, along said northerly right of way line, 631.88 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 5.44 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0311, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
