RESOLUTION NO. 010178

 

Honoring Julia C. Caldwell on the occasion of her retirement after more than 21 years of service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri.

 

WHEREAS, Julia Caldwell began her employment with Kansas City on September 24, 1979, as a Stock Clerk II for the Water Services Department; and

 

WHEREAS, Mrs. Caldwell worked in the Water Services Departments Fleet Maintenance Facility Storeroom during most of her career, before completing her career in the Ruskin Facility Storeroom; and

 

WHEREAS, Mrs. Caldwells work was recognized at Kansas Citys 1997 Award and Recognition Parade of Stars ceremony; and

 

WHEREAS, Mrs. Caldwell gave of her time in coordinating her Divisions United Way Fund Drive during the last three years; and

 

WHEREAS, Mrs. Caldwells knowledge, skills and positive attitude will be missed by her fellow employees and those she served; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby extend to Julia C. Caldwell, on the occasion of her retirement from City service, the heartiest best wishes for her future, together with their most sincere appreciation for her more than 21 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Kansas City; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Julia C. Caldwell in token of the Mayors and Councils respect and high regard and their best wishes for a long and happy retirement which she so richly deserves.
