ORDINANCE NO. 970344

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0041, rezoning an area of approximately 1.2 acres generally located at the northeast corner of 11th Street and Olive Street from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0041, rezoning an area of approximately 1.2 acres generally located at the northeast corner of 11th Street and Olive Street from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0041. That an area legally described as:

 

Lots 37 through 44, Clouser and Cole's Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 37, thence North 90 00'00" East along the north lines of Lots 37 through 44, 400.00 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 44; thence South 00 04'00" East, along the east line of Lot 44, 130.00 feet to the southeast corner thereof; thence North 90 00'00" West, along the south line of aforementioned lots, 400.00 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 37; thence North 00 04'00" West, 130.00 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 52,000 square feet or 1.20 acres.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0041, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
