ORDINANCE NO. 940550

Authorizing the Director of Health to enter into an agreement with the Kansas City Free Health Clinic whereby it will provide case management services to persons with HIV/AIDS for one year beginning May 1, 1994, for which the City will provide $35,000.00 in previously appropriated funding.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, whereby the Clinic will provide case management services to persons with HIV/AIDS, for the period of May 1, 1994 through April 30, 1995, for an amount not to exceed $35,000.00 in funds previously appropriated in Account No. 95-100-050-2420B by Ordinance No. 940326. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
