ORDINANCE NO. 090969

 

Reallocating current funding in the Capital Improvements Fund for the Dangerous Buildings Division Parking Lot project from Public Works/CIMO to the General Services Department; and recognizing an emergency.

WHEREAS, the General Services Department is responsible for the Dangerous Buildings Division Parking Lot project and the funding for these projects is in Public Works/CIMO and should be moved to the General Services Department; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Capital Improvements Fund are hereby reduced by the following amounts: 

10-3090-898843-A-890A0361 Parking Lot for Dept of NCS $ 11,003.94

10-3090-898843-B-890A0361 Parking Lot for Dept of NCS 102,095.10

10-3090-898843-C-890A0361 Parking Lot for Dept of NCS 962.01

10-3090-898943-B-890A0361 Parking Lot for Dept of NCS 170,000.00

TOTAL $284,061.05

Section 2. That the sum of $284,061.05 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following accounts in the Capital Improvements Fund:

10-3090-078043-B-070A0361 Parking Lot for Dept of NCS $284,061.05

Section 3. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter in that it appropriates money, and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
