COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 090549

Estimating revenue in the General Fund in the additional amount of $200,000.00; reducing the Contingent Appropriation in the General Fund by $200,000.00; and appropriating $400,000.00 to the Neighborhood and Community Services Department for the Nuisance Abatement Program. 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

10-1000-572339-465500 Weed Cutting Fees $200,000.00

Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is reduced by the following amount:

10-1000-179990-B Contingent Appropriation $200,000.00

Section 3. That $400,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund: 

10-1000-572339-B Nuisance Abatement Program $400,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
