RESOLUTION NO. 080976

Directing the Director of General Services to include the Health Department Facility and certain facilities of the Municipal Campus and Convention Center Campus in the Citys Guaranteed Energy Savings RFP for Project No. 1.

WHEREAS, the City will issue an RFP to four Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) that have been prequalified in the initial phase of this RFP process; and

WHEREAS, the selected ESCO will be required to perform technical energy audits on all of the City facilities included in Project 1 and propose and implement energy savings measures that are guaranteed to pay for themselves within fifteen years; and

WHEREAS, City Council directs that the Director of General Services include certain City facilities in Project No. 1; NOW THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY

That the Director of General Services is directed to include the following facilities in the Citys Guaranteed Energy Savings RFP for Project No. 1: City Hall, Communications Center, Police Headquarters, Municipal Court, George E. Wolf Parking Garage, Health Department Facility, Auditorium Plaza Garage, Barney Allis Caf, Barney Allis Plaza, Bartle West Dock, Convention Center Ballroom, H. Roe Bartle Hall and Municipal Auditorium.
