ORDINANCE NO. 180833

 

Rezoning a 1.2 acre tract of land generally located at 4915 and 4933 E. Truman Road and 1500 Van Brunt Boulevard from Districts R1.5 and R2.5 to District B4-5. (CD-CPC-2018-00149)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A1170, rezoning an area of approximately 1.2 acres generally located at 4915 and 4933 E. Truman Road and 1500 Van Brunt Boulevard from Districts R1.5 (Residential 1.5) and R2.5 (Residential 2.5) to District B4-5 (Heavy Commercial), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A1170. That an area legally described as:

 

4915-35 Truman Rd 1517 Poplar East Kensington Lots 1-3 & n 1 ft Lot 22 & all Lots 23 & 24 Blk 17 & W 1/2 vac Brighton St ly e & adj & vac aly ly adj to Lots 1-3 & lot 24

 

and

 

1500 Van Brunt Blvd / SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Sec 2 49 33 beg se cor 15th & vac Brighton th e to w li Van Brunt th s alg sd blvd 145 ft th w parl to s li Truman Rd to e li vac Brighton th n 145 ft to beg & E 1/2 vac Brighton Ave ly w of & adj

 

is hereby rezoned from Districts R1.5 (Residential 1.5) and R2.5 (Residential 2.5) to District B4-5 (Heavy Commercial), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A1170, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning and Development Code have been given and had.
