ORDINANCE NO. 130948

 

Authorizing a $430,000.00 contract with Burns and McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for the Water Main Replacement in the Area of McGee to Chestnut, 65th Street to 89th Street project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute Contract No. 8927, Project No. 80001745, in the amount of $430,000.00, with Burns and McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for design professional services for Water Main Replacement in the Area of McGee to Chestnut, 65th to 69th Street project from Account No. AL-8073-807701-B-611040, Water Main Relocations. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
