ORDINANCE NO. 961549

 

Accepting and approving a one year $562,000.00 grant agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to continue clean air compliance with Air Pollution Control regulations; decreasing revenue in the amount of $97,648.00; increasing revenue in the amount of $86,247.00; and decreasing an appropriation account in the amount of $11,401.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a grant agreement between the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide $562,000.00 in funds to enable the City to continue clean air compliance with Air Pollution Control regulations for one year beginning October 1, 1996, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby decreased in the following amounts

 

97-100-050-7442 96 Air Emission $48,019.00 97-100-050-7797 96 Air Quality 49,629.00 TOTAL $97,648.00

 

Section 3. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby increased in the following amounts

 

97-100-050-7443 97 Air Emission $23,231.00 97-100-050-7793 97 Air Quality 63,016.00 TOTAL $86,247.00

 

Section 4. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby decreased in the following amount:

 

97-100-050-2230-A Air Quality Control $11,401.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
