ORDINANCE NO. 910029

 

Approving an agreement in the amount of $66,000.00 between Kansas City, Missouri and Sherman, Goelz & Bergfalk, public relations counsel for professional consultant services to represent Kansas City in Washington, D.C. for the period February 15, 1991 through February 14, 1992.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the agreement in the amount of $66,000.00 for professional consultant services between Kansas City, Missouri and Sherman, Goelz & Bergfalk, public relations counsel, whereby the consultant will act as legislative and administrative consultants for the City in Washington, D.C. during the period of February 15, 1991 through February 14, 1992, is hereby approved. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to expend $66,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 1-01000-B for the obligation incurred by this ordinance.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
