ORDINANCE NO. 050294

 

Accepting various Missouri Warranty Deeds, conveying to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, certain properties in Clay County, Missouri, all for public use as for the N. Brighton Avenue Road Improvements and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance with the Clay County Recorders Office.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various deeds in Clay County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record at the respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Michael S. Bousman; Book 4692 Page 126, legally described as: All of Lot 3, Sugar Tree Hall, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

2. W. Gary and Lori B. Campbell; Book 4709 Page 935, legally described as: Lot 24 and the North 39.19 feet of Lot 25, Sugar Tree Hall, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

3. Richard W. and Sheri Champion; Book 4893 Page 62, legally known as: The South 10.81 feet of Lot 27 and all of Lot 28, Sugar Tree Hall, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.

 

4. Merle D. and Kathy L. Cundiff; Book 4716 Page 473, legally known as: The West 179.5 feet of the South 94 feet of the North 285.6 feet of Lot 7, Dr. Thompsons Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Edwards; Book 4709 Page 930, legally known as: Beginning at a point which is 30 feet East and 102.06 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 51, Range 32; thence running South 84 degrees 57 minutes 20 seconds East 127.2 feet to a point; thence in a Southerly direction 100 feet to appoint on the North line of a street; thence West along the Northerly line of said street a distance of 125 feet to a point 30 feet East of the West line of said Southeast Quarter of said Section; thence North 100.39 feet to the point of beginning, being part of Lot No. 2 on the unrecorded plat of Hoy Hills, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.

 

6. Kevin Faulkner; Book 4692 Page 124, legally known as: A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 51, Range 32, described as follows: Beginning at a point 30 feet East of and 352.84 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Quarter Section and running thence South 84 degrees 57 minutes 20 seconds East a distance of 286.67 feet; thence Southerly at right angles to the last described course, a distance of 100 feet; thence in a Northwesterly direction and at right angles to the last described course, a distance of 277.93 feet to a point due South of the point of beginning; thence North to the point of beginning, in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, sometimes known as tract 16, UNRECORDED PLAT OF HOY HILLS.

 

7. Robert Ray Foster; Book 4765 Page 824, legally known as: Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 51, Range 32, in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, Beginning at a point on the center line of Section 29, 365 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence East and parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 160 feet; thence South 92.5 feet; thence West 160 feet to the center line of section 29; thence North 92.5 feet to the point of beginning, tract subject to accepted right-of-way of North Brighton Avenue.

Liebsch and Dorothy F. Liebsch, husband and wife, in Book 592, Page 462 as Document No. B-3721 and that part conveyed to Nelson Robinette and Orel A. All properties herein described, all being recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the City for public use purposes.
