ORDINANCE NO. 070282

 

Accepting a General Warranty Deed conveying to the City 7200 N.W. Waukomis Drive in Platte County, Missouri, all for public use and directing the City Clerk to record the same.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the deed from Louise Wanda Dingerson conveying property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for public purpose for and recorded as Instrument No. 2007 002084, Book No. 1098, page 196, in the Office of the Platte County Missouri Recorder, is hereby accepted. The property is legally described as follows:

 

Commonly referred to as 7200 N.W. Waukomis Drive: All of Tract 2, of Subdivision, of Tract 1, Amended Plat of Miltonwood, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, except that part of Tract 2 of Subdivision of Tract 1, described as follows: Commencing at the southwesterly corner of said Tract 2, a Subdivision of Tract 1; thence east along the south line of said Tract 2, 45.58 feet to a point in the center of the creek as said channel is now formed; thence northwesterly in a straight line along the center of said creek channel, 382 feet to a point in the center line of the Parkville-Barry Road 16.5 feet east of the northwesterly corner of said Tract 2; thence southeasterly along the centerline of said Parkville-Barry Road to the northwesterly corner of said Tract 2; thence southeasterly along the westerly line of said Tract 2, 355.3 feet to the place of beginning, except any part in roadway.

 


Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the city for public use purposes.
