COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 990143

 

Accepting and approving a one year $595,233.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to provide funding to enable the City to continue clean air compliance with Air Pollution Control Regulations; reducing revenues in the General Fund in the amount of $29,818.00; increasing revenues in the General Fund in the amount of $40,157.00; reducing appropriations in the General Fund by $4,238.00; and increasing appropriations in the General Fund in the amount of $14,7577.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide $595,233.00 in funds to enable the City to continue clean air compliance with Air Pollution Control Regulations for one year beginning October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, is hereby accepted and approved. That the contract shall substantially conform to the copy which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby reduced by the following amounts:

 

99-100-050-7444 98-Air Quality Part 70 $20,062.00

99-100-050-7794 98-Air Quality Control Grant 9,756.00

TOTAL $29,818.00

 

Section 3. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby increased by the following amounts:

 

99-100-050-7440 99-Air Quality Part 70 $30,760.00

99-100-050-7536 98-Air Quality Non Part 70 480.00

99-100-050-7537 99-Air Quality Non Part 70 3,399.00

99-100-050-7795 99-Air Quality Control Grant 5,518.00

TOTAL $40,157.00

 

Section 4. That the appropriation in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby reduced by the following amounts:

 

99-100-050-2237-A Air Quality Federal 105 $ 3,475.00

99-100-050-2237-B Air Quality Federal 105 500.00

99-100-050-2237-C Air Quality Federal 105 107.00

99-100-050-2237-E Air Quality Federal 105 156.00

Section 5. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby increased by the following amounts:
