ORDINANCE NO. 011132

Authorizing contract amendment with Crawford Mechanical Contractors, Inc., for emergency repairs and maintenance of plumbing at various City-owned facilities for the additional amount of $30,000.00 increasing the total contract amount to $445,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a contract amendment and to expend the additional sum of $30,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 02-100-089-7727-T as and for consideration on Contract No. 990163 with Crawford Mechanical Contractors, Inc., for emergency repairs and maintenance of plumbing in various City-owned facilities, which contract was previously approved by Ordinance No. 000932, passed July 20, 2000, increasing the total authorized expenditure in connection with the contract to an amount not to exceed $445,000.00.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
